string(1871) "We are so excited that #MakeTheMove has been named a finalist in the Australian HR Awards Best Recruitment Campaign division!

We've been working tirelessly to build our employer brand over the last 3 years and I see this nomination as an indication of how far we've come since our #PerksAtWork initiative back in 2015.

One thing that makes this so exciting is the incredibly high calibre of nominees in the 2017 category, including McDonald's, Telstra, PwC and Accenture. Cox Purtell is the only small business to be shortlisted in this category with our 100% in-house campaign.

Through #MakeTheMove we hired 20% of our current workforce with a $5,000 budget, in turn reducing our annual staff turnover by 83%.

While #MakeTheMove might not be the biggest campaign in scale, I'm incredibly proud that we were able to demonstrate innovation in our use of social and digital media to engage candidates previously untapped by the Australian market.
