In 1994, Jill Cox and Elisabeth Purtell established Cox Purtell Staffing Services. Well known in the industry, Jill and Liz quickly earned the reputation as one of the top 5 boutique recruitment agencies in Sydney - a reflection of our customer service-driven approach and ability to consistently meet and exceed our clients' and candidates' expectations.
Founded on values of Honesty, Integrity and Respect, Cox Purtell was - and is - a business committed to ethical behaviour and treating people as we ourselves want to be treated.
Our continued success has always been largely based on the fact that over 70% of our business is generated through referral from satisfied clients and candidates.

Now a second generation Australian company with almost 20 years' experience, Cox Purtell operates in four specialist markets - Professional Business Support; Accounting, Credit & Finance; Marketing, Communications & Sales; and Government Organisations.
We have developed a team of experienced recruitment specialists with strong industry knowledge to partner with clients in these sectors, and ensure we keep our founding values at the forefront of everything we do.
