Our client, a leading collections agency, has an opportunity for an experienced Collections Manager, to manage a team of 10 on-site at a leading state government agency. Responsible for leading, managing, training and coaching the team, the Collections Manager will also be involved in client and external stakeholder liaison. The collections are live accounts and a very high emphasis will be placed on customer outcomes (respectful, non-aggressive collection tactics), while achieving timely payment of overdue premiums and associated payment services.
Specific aspects of the role will include;
- Support the implementation of the team strategy to enable delivery of overall business and financial targets.
- Identify and implement best practice and process improvements to reduce expenses and manage Payment Services/ Collections effectively and efficiently.
Successful candidates will have a proven achievement record within a similar environment, along with outstanding people management and client management skills. An appreciation of legislative and confidentiality of client policies will also be required.
