The Graphic Designer will be part of a very busy and dynamic Communications Team attached to a large scale and high profile government infrastructure project. Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders, specific aspects of the role will include the following;
. Support the production of quality concepts, designs and layouts to meet communication requirements across a range of print and digital materials including posters, interactive forms, signs, e-newsletters, videos, merchandise, internal, social media channels etc.
-Prepare artwork and material for printing and production, work with suppliers, printers, developers and publishers to ensure all print and digital material is accurate and correctly printed/deployed/published.
-Receive and interpret creative briefs producing creative concepts and designs that meet the brief and are delivered on time and within budget. Work with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and alterations to designs
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following;
-Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design/Advertising or similar or equivalent experience plus demonstrated experience working as a graphic designer either agency or client side.
-Ability to work with Microsoft 2016 templates.
-Demonstrated skills in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Photoshop) in a commercial, Windows-based environment.
-Understanding of the need to develop creative concepts within company branding guidelines.
-Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
-Strong attention to detail and eye for accuracy.
-Ability to work independently and to manage priorities and workload to deliver work to deadline and within budget.
