The L&D Safety Learning will be responsible for the research development and delivery of safety learning initiatives and solutions to meet the departments safety priorities and goals. Ensuring these initiatives are embedded in the business by working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the department.
Specific aspects of the role will include;
- Project manage and undertake a range of safety learning design projects including conducting functional task analysis and risk based training needs analysis, to ensure the strategic safety curriculum needs of the organisation, business groups and employees are met.
- Coordinate suitable resources (internal and/or external vendors) ensuring the provision of high quality design and development of safety learning programs within agreed quality assurance framework, time-frames and budgets.
- Facilitate the production of high quality training materials.
- Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry requirements and reforms and their implications for training and development products and their delivery, to ensure that learning; meets business needs, is aligned with best practice adult learning principles, complies with relevant legislation and regulations, and is consistently applied across the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of safety learning programs and the capability to develop and maintain high credibility levels. Ideally your experience will be gained within a high risk, blue collar workforce.
