Secretary / Office Manager

Experienced and confident Secretary or Office Manager required to provide administration support to a small but busy Legal Practice supporting two high performing Solicitors.

About the Role

An opportunity now exists for an experienced, confident and outgoing Secretary/Legal Secretary/Office Manager/PA to join and make the role their own, with a busy workload supporting two Solicitors

Your role will include:

  • Diary Management, arranging appointments and meetings
  • Drafting and editing correspondence and Court documents
  • Preparing Briefs to Counsel/Experts
  • File Management; file opening and tracking and keeping up to date file records
  • Billing assistance and expense tracking
  • Maintaining accurate, up to date contact lists

This role requires proven experience and the ability to demonstrate:

  • Being pro-active and able to take action without needing a high level of detailed direction
  • Using judgment to respond appropriately to a wide range of enquires
  • Attention and a good eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, able to confidently respond to clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Having excellent time management and organisation
  • Able to multi-task and to have a flexible approach to your work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Typing proficiency and accuracy
  • Flexible working style; being able to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrating a “can do” approach and willing to help others to get the job done
  • Developing strong working relationships with team members as well as external stakeholders
