This is a 6 month contract with view to extend for the right candidate, exciting and fast-paced opportunity!

The Client:

Working with a dynamic and renowned Government Department, based in the CBD. They are a dynamic team of skilled individuals who work cohesively and efficiently to achieve their goals.

The Role:

To be successfully considered, you must have the following skills.

The Team Assistant will work with the corporate planning and major reform project teams, reporting into the office of the Exec Director. This is a fast paced, high energy environment, with constant change and new projects.

The role provides critical administrative coordination and support to the team, including on boarding and off boarding of new team members, event and meeting organising support, dealing with the escalation and resolution of issues to third party help desk, template management and other services.

Requires a self- starter who has an ability to proactively source the solutions by asking the right questions of the right people! Will have strong organisation skills and has previously worked in a similar role. Strong IT skills and knowledge of MS office programs will be highly regarded. Team spirit is essential!

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior TRIM or Government experience highly favourable
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments
  • Willingness to assist others
  • An eye for detail
