Project Accountant | 6-Month Contract
Location: Sydney
Salary:$50 - $55 per hour + super

We’re seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join a leading organisation on a 6-month temporary basis, starting in October. This role will suit a qualified accounting professional with a strong background in SAP and project implementation, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys supporting system upgrades and process improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with the finance team to support project and system upgrade activities

• Assisting with month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Reviewing invoices, claims, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Collaborating across the business to deliver on project goals and deadlines

• Supporting ad hoc finance initiatives as required

What we’re looking for:

• CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years’ accounting experience

• Strong technical skills, particularly with SAP and financial systems

• Proven experience contributing to projects, upgrades, or system implementations

• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a team environment
