We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client on a short-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone confident in Xero and with strong bookkeeping and administration skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Enter, produce, and email accounts receivable invoices

Enter all approved accounts payable invoices
-
Create and complete weekly payment runs for accounts payable, expenses, and other payments
-
Reconcile bank accounts in Xero daily and follow up discrepancies
-
Enter and reconcile credit card transactions, follow up receipts with cardholders
-
Manage the finance mailbox, action and follow up on items
-
Assist with non-financial tasks such as creating registers and organising documents
About You:
-
Proven experience using Xero(accounts receivable & payable)
-
Strong proficiency in Word and Excel
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
