AI Enablement & Innovation Lead

Melbourne (Property & Construction) | $180,000 - $190,000 + Super | Full-time, Permanent

  • $180K-$190K + Super, backed by an owner personally obsessed with AI and robotics
  • Real mandate, not theory: agentic workflows already live and running in production
  • Help shape a live SharePoint data foundation, not inherit someone else's legacy mess

About the Client

A well-established Melbourne property and construction business, covering the full pipeline from planning and feasibility through legal, construction, customer experience and post-delivery. Privately owned and ambitious, and already leaning hard into AI: the commitment exists, agentic workflows are live in production, and the owner is personally driving what comes next, not just funding it.

About the Role

Most AI roles ask you to build the case for AI. This one starts after that argument's already been won. You'll take an existing roadmap and turn it into daily capability across the business: rolling out and governing the tools already in use (Claude, Microsoft Copilot), and shaping the SharePoint data foundation currently being built as the business's single source of truth, so it's structured for AI to actually use, not just stored for people to search. You'll run the change management that makes adoption stick, not just launch, and you'll work directly with senior leadership, with real authority to prioritise and ship. And you won't be doing it from a desk: expect to be on site with construction crews as often as you're in the office, because that's where half of this business actually happens.

Duties

  • Extend an AI roadmap that's already live, building on the agentic workflows already in production.
  • Act as the internal evangelist and custodian for AI adoption, driving change management across teams already using generative AI tools day to day.
  • Shape the structure of the business's growing SharePoint data foundation so it's genuinely usable as an AI knowledge source, not just well organised for people.
  • Partner with an external AI consultant and the business's outsourced IT provider to prioritise, build and embed new use cases.
  • Get on site with construction crews regularly, understanding real workflows before automating them.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience deploying and governing generative or agentic AI tools inside a real business, not just advising on them from outside.
  • Understanding of how SharePoint content and data structure needs to change to support AI grounding, not just document governance and permissions.
  • A track record of driving change management and adoption, not just technology rollout.
  • Confidence operating autonomously alongside senior leadership and external consultants, without needing constant direction.
  • Genuinely willing to work in the office five days a week and get on site: this role trades remote flexibility for a seat at the table and a business that actually acts on what you build.

How to Apply

If you want to build AI capability somewhere that's already committed, not somewhere still deciding, we'd like to hear from you.
