A global technology leader in cloud-based workflow and automation solutions is expanding its Sydney support engineering team. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer (UX/UI) to join the Frontend Technical Support group on a 12-month contract.
If you enjoy solving complex technical issues, working closely with enterprise customers, and diving deep into modern web technologies, this role will suit you exceptionally well.
About the Role
You’ll troubleshoot challenging UI and UX issues within a large-scale cloud platform, analyse logs, debug dynamic web components, and guide customers through solutions with clarity and confidence. This role sits within a highly structured, technically sophisticated support environment, ideal for someone who thrives on analytical problem-solving and customer engagement.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Troubleshoot advanced UI/UX issues across a major cloud platform
  • Work with JavaScript, AngularJS, Jelly, AJAX, HTML/CSS, XML, and related technologies
  • Analyse logs and use browser debugging tools to identify root causes
  • Partner closely with enterprise clients and internal engineering teams
  • Manage incidents, defects, knowledge base content, and change activities
  • Produce clear, concise communication to both technical and non-technical users
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction through responsive, high-quality support
What You Bring
  • 3+ years supporting web-based or SaaS applications
  • Strong JavaScript debugging capability (browser dev tools, console, network requests)
  • Exposure to AngularJS, Jelly, AJAX, CSS, XML, HTML/XHTML
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex issues for enterprise-level stakeholders
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices (incident, problem, change, KB, escalation)

  • Rate: $62.38 per hour (including Super)
  • Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid: 2 days office / 3 days WFH)
