An award-winning architecture and design firm is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with a genuine passion for data storytelling, dashboard design, and turning complex datasets into insights that drive strategic decisions.
This is not your average BI reporting role. Here, you’ll be the go-to person for Power BI development working across teams in Finance, Operations, and Comms to build and evolve dashboards that shape how the business measures performance, tracks goals, and makes data-driven decisions.
The firm has over 700 employees across Australasia and a reputation for forward-thinking design. You’ll be embedded in a growing analytics capability, where your work won’t be buried in spreadsheets it’ll be up on screens, driving conversations at the top.
Your Focus
- Lead the development of Power BI dashboards from concept to deployment
- Design efficient and scalable data models using DAX and Power Query
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable visual solutions
- Drive automation, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting processes
- Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing BI reports and datasets
- Champion clean, well-documented, and visually compelling dashboard design
Bonus Points (Not Dealbreakers)
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or cloud tools like Azure
- Exposure to version control (Git), C#, or JavaScript/React for internal tooling
- An interest in UX/UI design principles and data aesthetics
