Director of Business Operations
Location: Sydney
Salary: $250,000 FTE + Super (pro-rata for 3 months)

A prestigious and well-established organisation in the education sector is seeking an experienced Director of Business Operations for a short-term 3-month contract. This is an immediate start role providing high-level financial, operational and strategic support to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and improve business systems, processes and workflows

• Oversee policy compliance, internal audits and governance

• Provide financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting and reporting

• Analyse performance, identify risks and recommend improvements

• Support strategic projects, planning and business modelling

• Manage and mentor operations staff

• Build strong stakeholder relationships

• Uphold professional standards, confidentiality and WHS requirements

Ideal Candidate

• Senior operations leader with experience in finance, strategy or business operations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to improve processes and organisational performance

• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting

• Experienced in managing teams and stakeholders

• Highly professional, proactive and strategic thinker
