Are you a commercially minded relationship builder with a flair for sales and partnerships? We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Partnership Manager to join our Membership and Engagement team and drive value for members through innovative partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities.
About the role
In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the next phase of our partnership and sales strategy, using insights from a recent commercial review to strengthen existing relationships and unlock new revenue streams.
This role requires a blend of relationship/account management skills, sales acumen, and strategic thinking to ensure members receive the highest quality benefits while maximising commercial opportunities and maintaining brand integrity.
This is an excellent opportunity to take the insights of a recent commercial review and shape the next phase of our partnership and sales strategy, ensuring members continue to access high-value benefits from trusted partners, while also driving growth through advertising and sponsorship.
Your work will focus on:
- Leading a clear sales strategy across advertising and sponsorship
- Maintaining strong partner relationships and securing new opportunities across events and publications.
- Managing and nurturing benefit partnerships that deliver genuine value to members
- Building strong pipelines and consistently achieving revenue targets
- Using data and insights to optimise performance and report on outcomes
- Lead a small team and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns
What we’re looking for
You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship builder with strong commercial acumen. You can balance strategy with hands-on execution, enjoy the challenge of meeting targets, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key skills and attributes:
- Proven track record in account management, partnerships, sponsorship, or advertising sales – ideally having worked with publications
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and reporting
- Experience managing people and developing talent
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to:
- Lead a small, dynamic team and make a tangible impact
- Work in a values-driven organisation with a strong member focus
- Shape a refreshed commercial strategy and build long-term partnerships
- Enjoy a supportive, collaborative workplace culture in the heart of Sydney CBD
If you’re looking for a role where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, while growing revenue and creating value for a professional membership base, we’d love to hear from you.
