Content Specialist
Immediate Start | Full-Time Temporary Contract
Fully Office-Based | $40-$45 per hour + Super
We’re looking for a digitally savvy storyteller to jump into an immediate temporary opportunity as a Content Specialist, joining a dynamic communications team.
This is your chance to turn complex ideas into clear, creative content, bringing the brand to life across digital platforms, social media, and internal communications.
This role is initially a temporary contract but has the potential to become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Therefore we are looking for a candidate with full working rights.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of digital content creation and coordination across their website, newsletters, portals, and social channels, ensuring every piece of content informs, inspires, and engages.
Your days will be filled with writing, editing, producing, and publishing everything from email campaigns to videos, social posts, and web updates. You’ll also monitor performance, track engagement, and use insights to shape what comes next.
Key responsibilities:
-
Create and manage high-quality, on-brand content across digital channels, from social posts and videos to newsletters and web updates.
-
Support digital campaigns and communications, ensuring accuracy, tone, and consistency across all touchpoints.
-
Upload and manage web content, portal updates, and newsletters.
-
Develop and schedule engaging social media content, including copy, images, and short-form videos.
-
Track analytics, measure engagement, and report on results to continuously refine digital strategy.
-
Collaborate closely with the Communications Manager and other internal stakeholders to keep content aligned with broader goals.
-
Act as a digital brand guardian making sure everything you produce is polished, professional, and true to the organisation’s voice.
What you’ll bring:
-
Proven experience in digital communications, social media, or content creation.
-
Strong writing and editing skills - you know how to simplify technical material and make it pop.
-
Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut for content production.
-
An eye for design and detail, and confidence in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-
Working knowledge of CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics.
-
A collaborative, can-do attitude and a knack for building strong working relationships.
This role is perfect for you if:
You’re immediately available, love variety in your day, and thrive in an environment where creativity meets purpose. You’re equally comfortable storyboarding a video as you are crafting an email campaign or analysing engagement metrics.
The essentials:
-
Immediate start – temporary role. With the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. Therefore you must have full RTW eligibility.
-
Full-time, office-based position
-
Competitive hourly rate.
- Work with a passionate and supportive communications team in a creative, high-energy environment.
