A leading global business transformation and consulting organisation is seeking a Director – Digital Transformation to join its ANZ leadership team, with a focus on supporting major travel and hospitality clients.

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth across the travel portfolio. The position will suit a senior transformation leader with strong consulting capability, deep experience in customer experience and digital transformation, and the ability to shape strategic point of view, influence senior stakeholders, and lead complex client programs from concept through execution.

You will play a key role in helping enterprise clients reimagine customer journeys, modernise service operations, and unlock value through a combination of strategy, process optimisation, technology enablement, AI, automation and operating model transformation.

The role

  • Lead complex digital transformation initiatives across customer experience and service operations
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps, future-state strategies and business value cases
  • Develop compelling point-of-view material and strategic recommendations for client environments in the travel domain
  • Drive CX transformation programs across people, process and technology
  • Support initiatives spanning omnichannel service, self-service, automation, cloud platforms and AI-enabled customer experience
  • Facilitate customer journey analysis and service redesign across key customer touchpoints
  • Work closely with cross-functional consulting, delivery, technology and operations teams to deliver scalable outcomes
  • Contribute to solution shaping, opportunity development and broader growth across the ANZ travel portfolio

About you

  • Significant experience in digital transformation, CX consulting, customer operations transformation, or service transformation
  • Strong consulting capability, with the ability to engage at executive level and shape strategic recommendations
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs across customer, operational or service environments
  • Exposure to customer experience transformation as a core capability
  • The ability to create high-quality presentations, transformation narratives and executive-facing recommendations
  • Experience working with or advising clients in travel, hospitality, tourism, aviation or broader service-based sectors will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to AI, automation and modern customer service technologies will be viewed favourably
  • Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
