Executive Assistant – More Than Just an EA Role
Sydney | Global Professional Services Firm
Full-time permanent role- CBD/WFH
$120-130k+super + bonus

Looking for an Executive Assistant role that goes beyond the ordinary? This isn’t your typical diary and travel management position. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of high-profile projects, acting as a key coordinator between consultants, clients, and senior executives worldwide.

About the Role

As an Executive Assistant, you’ll be a trusted partner to a highly regarded professional in their field. They are looking for someone who can stay a few steps ahead, act as a confidant and sounding board, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a professional EA role that blends high-level project coordination with genuine partnership.

Expect to:

  • Coordinate international meetings and travel.
  • Manage end-to-end project documentation — proposals, reports, presentations, and more.
  • Act as the central hub for communication
  • Keep workflows on track, deadlines met, and details flawless (including proofreading and quality checks).
  • Step in to cover additional office duties (such as catering and room set-up) — there’s no receptionist, so everyone pitches in.
  • Support broader office operations and special projects as needed.

The Sydney office is a collaborative environment, with a close-knit team of EAs who support each other and share knowledge.

About You

You’re not just an EA — you’re a project manager, a problem-solver, and a trusted partner. With a background in professional services or a corporate environment, you’re confident operating at a senior level and thrive when juggling competing priorities.

You’ll bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in senior EA roles.
  • Exceptional project management and coordination skills.
  • Advanced MS Office capability (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Sharp communication skills, with a flair for polished, client-ready writing.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to earn the trust of senior executives.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with resilience under pressure.
  • A down-to-earth, not-precious approach — you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

Who You’ll Be Supporting

You’ll be working with a true professional who values an EA who is proactive, trustworthy, and confident enough to be both a sounding board and a steady pair of hands. This is a deeply rewarding role with a strong, collaborative partnership.

Why This Role?

Because it’s not your standard EA job. Here, you’ll be part of a global, fast-paced, professional environment where your work directly contributes to the success of high-level assignments. You’ll join a team that values excellence, curiosity, collaboration, and humour — and you’ll gain exposure to some of the most senior executives in the market.
