Ae national membership association is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support their CEO and senior leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly trusted, high-visibility role within a purpose-driven organisation that's growing fast and punching well above its weight. If you're someone who genuinely loves bringing order to complexity, keeping priorities moving and helping leaders operate at their best - this role was made for you.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll provide high-level executive support across a broad and varied remit including:
- Executive coordination, diary and inbox management, travel and briefings

- Board and Committee coordination - agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
- Driving and supporting strategic projects and organisational initiatives
- Acting as a confident, warm and professional gatekeeper for the CEO's time and priorities
- Improving systems, workflows and coordination across the team
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and broader organisational administration as needed
This role offers huge variety, genuine responsibility and the opportunity to grow - including the potential to transition into a permanent position with increased hours from the new financial year.
About You
- Exceptional organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proven experience supporting C-suite or senior executives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities with ease
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to create structure and boundaries professionally - without adding bureaucracy
- Financial skills are a strong advantage
- A background in government, infrastructure, transport, membership organisations or complex stakeholder environments is highly regarded
Location & Flexibility
Brisbane is the preferred location for this role, however we welcome strong applicants based in Sydney or Melbourne as well. The organisation operates with a remote-flexible model across Australia, with occasional in-person events and meetings.
