We’re currently seeking a hands-on, passionate Maintenance/Facilities Assiatant to join a team in North Sydney. This is your chance to make an impact by supporting the smooth operations and high standards of a world-class school campus.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Facilities, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the campus' buildings and facilities. You’ll help ensure everything runs efficiently and safely, supporting an exceptional student and staff experience from behind the scenes. Please note: candidates must have full Australian working rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of general support services across the school, including assistance with relocations, deliveries, and setup/pack-down for various school events and functions.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting, lock repairs, light bulb replacements, Test and Tag activities, and general grounds upkeep.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and external contractors, ensuring consistent and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular cleaning, washing, and minor upkeep of the school’s fleet vehicles.
  • Support the coordination and oversight of external service providers to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of facilities management services.

About You:

  • Have proven experience in maintenance and facilities support
  • Must be a recent certified Plumber or Electrician
  • Hold relevant trade qualifications or certifications
  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to work
  • Thrive on delivering high-quality, timely outcomes
  • Be highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
  • Effectively balance competing priorities
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be committed to delivering excellent service to all stakeholders
