HR Analytics & Operations Specialist - JAPAC
Sydney | Hybrid | 12-Month Contract | $130-140k + Super
A leading Fortune 500 SaaS organisation (you'll likely have heard of them) is seeking a HR (talent) Analytics & Operations Specialist to support their JAPAC Talent Acquisition function. This is a high-impact role focused on transforming data into actionable insights, improving reporting frameworks, and enabling better hiring decisions across the region.
This position goes beyond standard reporting - you’ll play a key role in shaping how talent data is interpreted, communicated, and leveraged by senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver meaningful TA insights to drive data-led decision making across hiring performance and efficiency
- Build and evolve reporting frameworks, including weekly reports and executive-level presentations
- Develop clear, compelling data visualisations to communicate impact across JAPAC
Data Visualisation & Storytelling
- Translate complex datasets into concise, actionable narratives for leadership audiences
- Design dashboards and presentation materials using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Create consistent reporting outputs that reinforce a strong TA performance narrative
Program Operations & Governance
- Design and manage analytics programs end-to-end, including success metrics and stakeholder alignment
- Partner closely with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and accuracy across systems and reporting layers
What You’ll Bring
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, or insights roles (TA/HR analytics preferred)
- Experience in a multinational organisation (with SaaS experience being highly desirable)
- Strong experience working with HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g. Workday)
- Advanced Excel skills (including complex models and Power Query)
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau (dashboard design and data modelling)
- Proven ability to build scalable reporting and visualisation templates
- Strong stakeholder management skills across enterprise environments
- Ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity in data environments
