HR Generalist | Temp to Perm | Sydney CBD
$50–$60 per hour + super | Must be available immediately
A well-regarded membership organisation based in Sydney CBD is looking for a motivated HR Generalist to cover an initial 2–3 month contract, with genuine potential to go permanent for the right person.
This is a great opportunity for someone a few years into their HR career who's comfortable working independently and enjoys variety the role spans recruitment, employee relations, and involvement in a people and culture initiative currently in development.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of roles — from briefing and advertising through to offer
- Providing day-to-day employee relations support, including advice to managers on HR matters and policy queries
- Supporting the project management of a people and culture initiative in partnership with an internal stakeholder and external consultant, focused on embedding organisational strategy into everyday ways of working
- Maintaining HR systems, employee records and documentation
- General HR administration and support as required
What we're looking for:
- 2–4 years of HR experience with solid exposure to recruitment
- Some ER experience — comfortable handling straightforward matters with support
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable operating as a standalone HR professional in a small, purpose-driven organisation
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in people and culture work
- Available immediately — this is essential
