Member Growth Manager – NSW
Location:
Sydney CBD
Salary:$135k - $140k + Super
Full-time, permanent
We are seeking a Member Growth Manager to lead member acquisition, engagement, and business development across NSW for a prestigious membership-organisation operating in the Professional Services industry. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building professional networks, driving growth, and connecting members with meaningful professional development opportunities.
About the Role
This role combines B2C member growth and B2B business development, with a focus on:
- B2C: Retaining and expanding the member base through proactive engagement and tailored support.
- B2B: Growing revenue through in-house training/education and corporate partnerships with professional services organizations, including finance, banking, and accounting.
The role requires a confident, professional presence - you will engage directly with members and corporate partners, deliver presentations, and represent the organization to key stakeholders.
This is not a commission-based sales role - we are looking for someone who combines strategic business development with a genuine passion for education, professional development, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Member Growth & Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with members to drive retention and acquisition.
- Support professional development initiatives and learning opportunities that meet member needs.
Business Development & Partnerships:
- Identify and develop corporate partnerships and in-house training & education opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth and expand engagement within the professional services sector.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and training/education contracts.
Professional Representation:
- Confidently present to clients, conduct introductions, and moderate discussions where required.
- Serve as a key point of contact for professional services organizations within NSW.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on local growth opportunities.
About You
- Proven experience in member engagement, business development, or professional network growth within professional services (finance, accounting, corporate services).
- Experience selling education or training products into professional services companies is highly desirable.
- Confident and engaging communicator, comfortable presenting and interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across a wide network.
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Why This Role?
This is a unique opportunity to drive member growth and professional development in NSW while building strong corporate relationships across the professional services sector. You’ll have autonomy, direct impact on revenue and engagement, and the chance to shape a thriving professional network.
