You’ll work closely with the State Manager/GM Engagement and the Member Growth Executive, while also collaborating with national teams across membership, CPD, events, and operations.
About the Role
Reporting to the State Manager / General Manager – Engagement, you will provide high-quality administrative and member support across the full membership lifecycle. This includes assisting with enquiries, processing membership changes, supporting retention activities, and coordinating CPD and member events.
You’ll also contribute to member growth initiatives and ensure accurate data management across membership systems, helping to maintain a seamless and positive member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for member enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face
- Provide high-quality administrative and member support across the State Office
- Support membership renewals and retention activities, including payments, payment plans, invoice adjustments, resignations, and membership changes
- Conduct outbound calls to support retention targets and member engagement

- Assist with membership onboarding, applications, advancements, PPCs, and welcome materials
- Support CPD and member events, including registrations, logistics, and on-the-day coordination
- Assist with general office administration, including inbox management, supplies, invoicing, and banking tasks
- Promote membership benefits and provide accurate advice to members and prospective members
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
About You
- Experience in administration, customer service, or membership/support roles
- Strong communication skills with a confident, professional phone manner
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and administration
- Comfortable working across systems/CRM platforms (experience with membership systems desirable)
- A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach
- Experience in a membership, association, or professional services environment (desirable)
This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-driven organisation where your work directly contributes to member experience, engagement, and retention. You’ll gain exposure across membership, events, and operations in a supportive and nationally connected team environment.
