Office Lead
Sydney CBD
$85k + Super | Full-Time, Permanent

Join a global leader in the insurance sector, renowned for its strong reputation both locally and internationally. Offering a wide range of products to a diverse client base, this organisation is seeking an Office Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, reception, and the smooth functioning of office facilities.

In this role, you’ll ensure the workplace is welcoming, well-presented, and fully equipped while providing high-level administrative support to the team. You’ll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues across the organisation, based in their CBD office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and direct visitors in a professional manner.

  • Manage reception calls and emails promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain the front of house and office areas to project a polished corporate image.

  • Replenish kitchen and office supplies, including coffee, fruit, milk, and stationery.

  • Coordinate meeting room bookings, catering, and conference facilities.

  • Assist in planning and delivering office events from invitations to execution.

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and newspapers.

  • Liaise with cleaning contractors to ensure a spotless workspace.

  • Prepare new starter packages, security passes, and welcome materials.

  • Conduct monthly maintenance checks to ensure workplace safety.

  • Arrange maintenance quotes and follow up with contractors for timely completion.

  • Process facilities-related invoices for payment.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to management.

Skills & Experience

  • 12+ months’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-site organisation.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging with all levels of staff and clients.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills in a corporate environment.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Proactive, action-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.

  • A strong customer service mindset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
