The Opportunity
A national non-profit organisation is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to support a range of initiatives within expanding workstreams. Working within an established team, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that support safety and productivity outcomes.
Responsibilities
Reporting to an experienced Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Providing project management support for nationally significant and strategic initiatives
- Supporting stakeholder engagement, including building effective working relationships and managing stakeholder documentation
- Coordinating activities such as:
- Emails and correspondence
- Assisting with procurement documentation and contract management
- Identifying relevant conferences and industry events and managing attendance
- Assisting with planning and coordination of workshops and stakeholder events
- Managing reporting using organisational project management tools and processes
- Overseeing day-to-day interactions with consultants to ensure project delivery on time and within budget
- Delivering Secretariat support for governance groups, including organising meetings, preparing papers, coordinating stakeholder input, analysing information, and distributing minutes and actions
- Undertaking routine administrative tasks and assisting with other organisational activities as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of project and program management frameworks, with demonstrated application of project principles
- Excellent administrative and Secretariat skills
- Proven ability to work independently, apply initiative, and generate innovative solutions
- Knowledge of government decision-making processes (highly regarded)
