Commercial Sales– NSW (Field Based)
Full-time | Permanent role
$85-100k+super + commission

Cox Purtell is working exclusively with a fast-growing, purpose-driven start-up. This company is driving innovation in a sector we all use but don’t always think about. They are an early-stage start-up providing a product to an industry that has been around for as long as people have. They aim to disrupt a traditional industry with a technology that benefits the planet and its people as well as end users! The best part? This product is already a success, but this business had the brains to bring it to the Australian market.

This role gives you the chance to be at the forefront of that change, working with clients across commercial settings, including hospitality, healthcare, and childcare.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a true end-to-end sales role where you’ll be out in the field, creating opportunities and showcasing an innovative technology that sells itself once seen in action. Your days will include:

  • Hunting for and engaging new commercial clients across NSW.
  • Delivering compelling on-site demonstrations that highlight real-world results.
  • Managing the sales process from the first conversation through to deal closure.
  • Building long-term relationships with decision-makers who value sustainable solutions.
  • Hitting (and exceeding) monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Feeding back insights to help shape strategy and market positioning.

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You’ll bring:

  • Proven success in B2B sales — ideally capital equipment, tech, or commercial services.
  • Confidence in presenting and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach suited to field-based work.
  • Patience and persistence for managing longer sales cycles.
  • An unrestricted NSW driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • The flexibility to travel around Sydney and NSW- the office is in the Eastern Suburbs, but you will be comfortable with travelling to clients, and you will need to be based in the Greater Sydney area.
