- Rare five-year contract runway, renewed in 12-month terms for genuine job security
About the Client
Our client is a leading Queensland-based university undertaking a significant, multi-year investment in its Salesforce ecosystem as part of a broader digital transformation agenda. The organisation positions itself as a value-driven, contemporary digital services partner to its students, staff and community, and is modernising its technology and ways of working to build a connected digital future. This is a well-funded, executive-backed program rather than a standalone project, with genuine institutional commitment behind it.
About the Role
As Salesforce Product Manager, you will be the authoritative leader for the organisation's customer and engagement platforms, setting the enterprise CRM vision that shapes student lifecycle, advancement, marketing and stakeholder engagement outcomes. You will sit at the centre of strategic decision-making, advising directly into executive governance bodies such as the Digital Investment Board and steering committees on investment priorities and trade-offs. This is a genuine product leadership mandate rather than a delivery role, spanning the full CRM portfolio and leading the transition to a product-led operating model. Based in Brisbane, you will take end-to-end accountability for a platform under sustained, multi-year investment.
Duties
- Define and lead the enterprise CRM strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Own the CRM investment portfolio, including prioritisation, trade-offs and benefits realisation across multiple business domains.
- Act as the organisation's lead advisor on CRM strategy to executive leadership and governance forums.
- Establish and embed a whole-of-organisation CRM operating model, including governance, prioritisation and lifecycle management.
- Hold end-to-end accountability for product performance, including adoption, customer experience and return on investment.
Requirements
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Deep expertise across Salesforce multi-cloud environments, including Sales, Service, Marketing and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise integration and data architecture.
- Strong understanding of security and governance models.
- Proven experience operating at a senior enterprise leadership level, influencing executive stakeholders and governance bodies.
- Strong commercial acumen, including investment governance and value optimisation.
