SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – GO, TYPESCRIPT

Salary: Up to $170k + Super
Location: Remote-first(must be based in Australia, AEST alignment preferred)
Eligibility: Full Australian working rights required

THE ROLE
This business builds software that simplifies complex, high-risk operational workflows. The product integrates deeply with external platforms and is designed to be easy to adopt, straightforward to run, and resilient in real-world production environments.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You’ll be building and evolving core product capabilities – backend services, integrations, and system workflows – in a domain where engineering decisions have real world consequences.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Design, build, and evolve backend services and APIs using Go and TypeScript
• Own features end-to-end, from problem definition through to production operation
• Work on systems where reliability, correctness, and clarity matter more than cleverness
• Collaborate closely with product and commercial stakeholders to deliver pragmatic solutions

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Strong commercial experience with Go building production systems
• Solid TypeScript capability across service boundaries
• Strong engineering judgement, a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to reason clearly about systems
• Comfort designing, building, and evolving production systems where simplicity, correctness, and reliability matter
• Experience making thoughtful engineering trade-offs in real-world environments

TECH ENVIRONMENT (HIGH LEVEL)
Go, TypeScript, AWS, modern cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, third-party integrations.
