You’ll join a lean engineering team building and supporting a modern product platform in a role that blends software engineering with cloud and delivery capability.

This role will suit you if you want to stay close to coding, but also enjoy working across AWS, deployment, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code in a practical product environment.

It is not a pure infrastructure role, but this team does need an engineer who is comfortable contributing across software development and DevOps-style delivery functions.

What you’ll be doing

• Build front-end and back-end product functionality
• Work across software delivery, cloud deployment and engineering enablement
• Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code activity as part of the role
• Help support and improve deployment practices and cloud environments
• Work in a smaller team where engineers are expected to be practical, adaptable and involved
• Contribute to a modern product environment where engineering ownership matters

What they’re looking for

• Commercial exposure to functional programming or the functional paradigm( Elixir, Erlang, F#, Scala, Clojure, Haskell, OCaml, Gleam)
• Strong TypeScript capability
• Commercial AWS experience
• Some hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code in a commercial environment
• Experience in a small, lean product business
• A developer who enjoys coding and wants to stay hands-on
• Someone curious, engaged and motivated to keep learning
• Full working rights in Australia

• Experience building a product from scratch
• Experience working in a smaller team where engineers are expected to contribute across development and delivery
