ICT Business Analyst
Public Sector and Government
The Business Analyst, reviews and analyses the organisations’ business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements. This role will support processes associated with receiving, reviewing and actioning requests for new and changed functionality.
- Elicit business process requirements by using a broad range of effective engagement techniques.
- Support projects by undertaking analysis and impact assessments including testing, training and business transitions.
- Provide accurate advice about technical issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions
Key skills and experience
- Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Experience with electronic medical records and/or patient administration systems, either as a clinical or administrative user and/or in a technical support role.
experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills with previous experience engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation and presentations in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking the review and analysis of business processes and services in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes proven knowledge in improving business performance by adopting innovative business analysis solutions.
- · Experience in Elicitation and Writing of an ICT Disaster Recovery Process
· Experience in Elicitation and Writing of an ICT Standard operating procedures
· Experience in Database SQL 2014, Citrix XenApp, Citrix Netscaler, VMWare ESXi
